URBAN FABRIC
The focus of this project was the design of a public realm strategy in an urban environment. Of the many criteria looked at, the most influential were the circulation of people through the space and by extension, their curated experience as they traversed through the site. My strategy used several large masses to break up the vast site while creating a public square in the center. A main feature of this project was the design of the space parallel to the existing elevated train tracks which I proposed to become a green-way connection that connects the universities in the South up through the new business development in the North with a focus on pedestrian experience and walkability of the space.
