Petty Island

This project was a research project that focused in on the use and manipulation of site. The concept was to rework an island in the Delaware river from its current use as an unused oil refinery to a public space that has a focus on sustainability. After the initial research, I created a master plan of the island to create a linear narrative of how one might experience the island on a trip there. Afterwards, I focused in on a particular site on the island (the education building) and experimented with how to meld the built portions of the site with the exiting and created landscapes.
